Despite the Horrendous week of wind and rain the team worked through the elements installing the attenuation pipes and plot drainage to block 1.

On completion of the attenuation pipes next week, we then cast a 150mm concrete slab above. This will then free up the site to commence  superstructure brickwork to block 1.

This week we have steadily continued with the drainage runs, making sure to locate all existing services by a series of very meticulous hand digs.  We have had Yorkshire water out to inspect our work, who I am happy to say are pleased with our processes.

 

We have surveyed the levels of the foundations to block 1, plots 1-9, and completed the concreting to the footings.  We also started to pump out the rain water which had filled up the area where the attenuation tank will be laid early next week......to the dismay of a few of the locals..... see picture !

 

 

In anticipation of a welcome Easter break, we're letting all our followers know that our site will be closed on Good Friday, with a prompt return to work on Tuesday 10th April.

We have completed the excavations for footings on blocks 1 and 2, but with concrete delivery problems we have still to top up the foundations to block 1. 

Drainage work has commenced and the connection into the existing foul manhole has been made.  Next week we will be continuing with the foul and surface water drainage.
