With a break in the weather we were able to complete the Superstructure masonry and the Internal Drainage on Block 1. With a bit of tidying up of the void floor will will be ready for the craning of the block and beam midweek. We cleared the materials from Block 2 foundations and are looking to install the perimeter drainage and commence the superstructure next week.

Last week we made good progress with the super structure masonry on block 1, following on behind with the internal drainage and pop ups.

We continued with the surface water drainage.  This week we will strive to complete the superstructure ready for the block and beam.

April Showers!

That's an understatement to say the least !  Our groundworkers deserve a medal for going above and beyond the call of duty to remain on the tight programme.  Working through the relenting rain we have achieved our goal of completing the attenuation pipes and concreting the slab above.  On Monday we will stone up to levels which will release the area for storage of the concrete blocks for plots 1-14 foundations which commence next week.

Thanks to the better weather we were able to progress with the substructure masonry as planned on block 1.  Also by the middle of this week, the plot drainage runs on plots 1-14 will be complete.  We had a groundworking team carrying on with the rainwater attenuation system, and have been working closely with the Yorkshire Water inspector with regular site inspections.

This week we will continue with sub-structure blockwork and the main drainage run.
